Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran aren’t the most controversial of music stars but the pair have revealed that they almost got on the wrong side of the law following the recent Grammys ceremony.

During an appearance on BBC Radio 1, the celeb BFFs revealed that they partied with producer Mark Ronson at his hotel after the event but were forced to hide after police appeared on the scene.

“We were at a party in Mark Ronson’s room and then the police shut it down, they shut it down like Ke$ha,” said Sheeran, before the Shake It Off singer added “That made us feel so cool. We had to hide in a bathroom. I grabbed Ed and I was like, ‘Cops are here. Come with me.’”.

Swift also opened up about her recent star-studded birthday party, which saw Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake and Sam Smith in attendance.

“Beyoncé, she’s awesome in a party scenario — just the nicest, talking to everybody, dancing sometimes. We all have a phrase now, everyone that was at the party: Dance as if Beyoncé is watching you.”
