Ah, lads, imagine.
Westlife played Croke Park last week.
It was incredible, it was stunning, it was an experience that we will never be able to forget so as long as we all shall live.
Or, that is, until next year when the lads are allegedly planning a whole other UK and Ireland tour that’s going to be even bigger – and by extension even better – than the one we’ve just had.
This 2020 tour is likely to include massive stadiums across Britain as well as Ireland – and apparently, Cork too.
We know. Class, like.
RSVP Live reports that the lads are looking to play venues across three counties next year – and considering the incredible reaction to their Twenty Tour, we can see why tbh.
“It has already been said that they are going on another tour next year, but it is going to be bigger and better than the Twenty Tour,” a source told the publication.
“They are going to play in three cities in 2020; Dublin, Belfast as well as Cork.
“Louis Walsh and the boys are very excited. They are overwhelmed with the response they got with this tour.”
Excellent news all round to be honest, lads.
While it’s looking fairly likely that the (alleged) Dublin and Belfast gigs will take place in Croke Park and the SSE Arena respectively, the venue for the (alleged) Cork show has yet to be determined.
Could be Páirc Uí Chaoimh, but it could also be Live at the Marquee.
It’s anybody’s guess, really.
