Yes to this!

This woman is an icon.

Irene O’Shea has just become the oldest person to ever complete a skydive, at the ripe age of 102.

She is also our new favourite person.

Irene completed the charity skydive to raise money and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia.

So not only is she an iconic dare devil, she’s also very sound.

This amazing woman did the skydive in memory of her daughter, who passed away as a result of Motor Neurone Disease a number of years ago.

Irene stole the title of oldest person to complete a skydive from Kenneth Meyer of New Jersey.

Girl power, anyone?

Irene is no stranger to skydives, having completed a number of them in recent years – so she wasn’t at all concerned about her most recent one.

“I felt normal, about the same as previous jumps,” she said.

“I was with the same partner and the same young fellas were in the plane with me.”

She continued: “It was very clear up there and the weather was good but it was very cold up there.”
