Woman’s Poignant Facebook Rant About This Morning’s M50 Traffic Is Going Viral

An Irish woman’s poignant Facebook post aimed at those complaining about this morning’s traffic is garnering a lot of attention today.

The M50 Southbound closed this morning following a serious crash which saw a woman taken to Tallaght hospital in critical condition.

Many drivers took to social media to complain about the backlog, in what Lisa Marie Maher branded “pathetic dribble”.

Lisa Marie, who lost her father in a tragic collision four months ago took to Twitter to lament peoples’ insensitivity.

She explained how her father was killed on a busy main road during rush hour traffic and that the road was closed for twelve hours following the collision;

“I saw posts on Facebook people ranting and raving about the traffic, that it was a disgrace and guards were causing chaos closing the road.

“While people’s “lives were affected” my life and my families life was being torn from the seams.

“A few hours later everyone got to where they were going and forgot that anything ever happened. Well I didn’t, and never will and neither will the people who witnessed what happened to (my Dad) innocently crossing the road”.

Five hours after posting, the status has more than five thousand likes and over one thousand shares.
