*Opens the bidding at €10* Two Irish lads are looking for the single ladies of Ireland to put their hands in their pockets this week, and all for a very good cause. Rob Walsh and Ciaran Dempsey are preparing to run the Dublin Marathon in just under two weeks’ time, and have kicked off a pretty unique fundraising campaign. The lads are auctioning off their friend Conor Finan to the highest bidder in a bid to get a date for him while raising vital funds at the same time. Conor is 28 years old, from Blessington and we have it on good authority that he has road frontage too. Telling Her.ie all about the plan, Rob said: “We are doing the marathon to raise money for Our Lady's Hospice in Harold’s Cross and The Irish Cancer Society. “My aunt passed away in January from cancer and Ciaran's family has been touched by it recently too - hence the motivation to raise as much cash as possible. “Our housemate, the eternally single Conor Finan has agreed to offer himself up to the highest bidder for a date.
