Cristina Scucci made a big impression when she appeared on the Italian version of The Voice this week.
The 25-year-old is a nun and was dressed in the traditional garb, including a habit and sensible shoes.
Her singing and dancing moves are pretty impressive and her rendition of Alicia Key’s No One wowed both the audience and judges.
When asked what she thought the Vatican would make of her audition the Ursuline sister said: “I don’t know. I’m expecting a telephone call from Pope Francis, certainly.
“Because he exhorts us to go out, to evangelise, to say that God does not take from us but rather gives us more.”
Cristina assured the judges that she had not come in costume and was “a very real nun”.
They were suitably impressed with her vocal talents praising her crazy “energy” and “incredible” performance.
