Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is often used as an example of someone who ‘has it all’ but this week, she showed that she’s as human as the rest of us by sleeping through a business dinner.
Mayer had been due to attend a dinner at a swanky restaurant this week to meet marketing executives from several companies but according to Gawker, the 39-year-old turned up two hours later and revealed that she slept through the event.
While some of the executives were said to be angry at the snub, we have to admit that knowing that one of the most powerful women in the world can make such a slip-up makes us feel a little better about our own shortcomings!
