When you can’t count on the weather, count on the cocktails!
Pride weekend is almost upon us and although it’s going to be a little different this year it’s always important to celebrate.
Usually Pride weekend is one of the busiest weekends in the city; this year there will be less people on the streets but possibly more people taking the time to celebrate the day at home with loved ones.
So, here’s a few of the best places doing takeaway cocktails so you can celebrate in style.
Zozimus
As known for its umbrellas as it is known for its cocktails, Zozimus is offering lots of takeaway tipples, including G&T’s, Aperol Spritz’, Prosecco, cocktails, iced coffee and more.
Anti-social
Run by DJ Marcus O’Laoire, Anti-social has been offering some delicious cocktails to go for the last few weeks of lockdown, hit with locals as well as people popping in for a pickup.
Perfect for a Pride garden party!
Pygmalion
This favourite just off South William Street is known best for its good deals on cocktails pre-lockdown and it has managed to keep its reputation with takeaway cocktails during lockdown too.
Pyg has cocktail mixes you can buy and takeaway for a little get together in a park or house, as well as pizza from their little sister restaurant Little Pyg – which is delicious.

This restaurant has been doing at home dinner kits for the last few weeks… actually now that I think of it, the last few months! This is its last weekend closed before the public are allowed inside again.
Better make it a good one.
There are also several meal deals that you can get for the weekend ahead, perfect for a small gathering in your house – or if you decide to have a cute picnic you can get food and drink delivered right to you.
Guinness has teamed up with BBQ restaurant, Baste, seafood restaurant Klaw, and Anti-social for some food and drink offers that will be hard to refuse this weekend.
You can get a BBQ Box that serves four people for €100. Klaw at home is also offering a seafood box that serves four people for €125, and Anticosial has a toastie, a can of Guinness, and a Guinness glass for €10
