People are not too delighted with it.
Justin Timberlake released the second single, Supplies, from his new album, Man of the Woods.
It references various movements and controversies in today’s world, including #MeToo, #TimesUp, and Trump’s reign in power.
Throughout the video, protests are seen on video screens with signs and placards being waved during the marches and they seem to be directly aimed at Trump and his policies.
One reads ‘STOP GOV’T CRIMES’, while another says ‘WE ARE ALL IMMIGRANTS’, and ‘END RACISM NOW’.
However, many are having mixed reactions to it on Twitter, with some even commenting that it reminds them of Kendall Jenner’s controversial Pepsi ad:
Just made a coworker watch that new Justin Timberlake “Supplies” video, to make her experience the awful with me. Her feedback: “It’s like the Kendall Jenner Pepsi ad of music videos.” I agree.

Did the director of Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi commercial also direct Justin Timberlake’s new video pic.twitter.com/6F2BHU3l8p

The #Supplies video is like a watered down version of the Kendall Jenner Pepsi Commercial. Justin Timberlake’s Sierra Mist, if you will.

Also the music has NOTHING to do with the video. It’s like when you take a sexy selfie and then make your caption about how Jesus loves all the children of the world
