Obama’s letters to his first girlfriend have been released and we’re weak

Nine letters, sent by the former US president to his then college girlfriend, Alexandra McNear, have finally being made public according to the Associated Press. The letters which have remained a hidden treasure up until now, were given to Emroy University and made public to researchers of the college. The letters which date from the 1980s are exactly what you would expect from the man himself, full of knowledge, wisdom, aspirations and love. Researchers have described the letters as "lyrical and poetic" and from the excerpts we have seen. He really is just that.

One excerpt reads:

"I think of you often, though I stay confused about my feeling. It seems we will ever want what we cannot have; that's what binds us; that's what keeps us apart."

While another speaks of the future...

"My ideas aren't as crystallised as they were while in school, but they have an immediacy and weight that may be more useful if and when I'm less observer and more participant."

I mean where can I find a man like this? A president in the making ladies and gentlemen...

"Salaries in the community organisations are too low to survive on right now, so I hope to work in some more conventional capacity for a year, allowing me to store up enough nuts to pursue those interests next" he added.

Regardless of his previous flame, Michelle is still our number one girl. There is no denying their love.
