Ryanair’s head honcho, Michael O’ Leary, has said that the airline will sell flights to the US for €10 when the company secure the aircrafts needed for the long haul journey.

Speaking at the Irish Hotels Federation conference in Meath today, O’ Leary explained that $10 flights from the US to Europe would also run, extra expenses on travellers will include paying for baggage to meals.

According to the Irish Independentthe airline has a business plan already in place for launching transatlantic flights, however the company admitted it will be several years before it can get the planes needed as Gulf state airlines are currently purchasing all available aircraft.

Ryanair intends to operate from between 12-14 of the major cities in Europe to 12-14 major American destinations.

In a YouTube video uploaded to RyanairNews at the start of the year, the airline documented all of the new improvements passengers will see in 2014, we’ll have to wait a little longer for this offer.
