One thing the Irish have proved over the last year is that regardless of the sport, the occasion or the location, the Irish fans are the best in the world.
We proved it last weekend when Ireland took on New Zealand in Chicago. For the first time in 111 years, we beat the All Blacks.
Aer Lingus, who are in partnership with the IRFU, think the fans play a huge part in the teams success.
“Aer Lingus aims to bring #HomeAdvantage to wherever Ireland play. #HomeAdvantage is the national airline’s campaign, backing their partnership with the IRFU,” writes the airline.
“Whether it be at home, at the Aviva Stadium or on their travels, Ireland supporters are renowned for creating an electric atmosphere with their passionate support. Aer Lingus tapped into that support and helped fans create when Ireland took on New Zealand All Blacks last Saturday, November 5th in Soldier Field, Chicago.”
“The video reflects the bond between the fans and the team and the role the supporters play in making any venue feel like a home game. It shows how the fans are willing to travel far and wide to give the Irish team a sense of advantage.”
