Japanese veggies are about to be lovin it – Mc Donalds have just launched tofu nuggets in the Asian country.
They might fool you for chicken nuggets, but the little tasters are filled with a food combo including onions, carrots, soybeans, minced fish and tofu.
The nuggets come with a ginger dip, and boast a lower calorie than their chicken counterpart.
A McDonald’s spokesperson told The Wall Street Journal:
“The new nuggets do not include any chicken. It isn’t meat, it tastes a bit different. It’s a bit softer.
“Calorie-wise, it is a bit lower than chicken as well.”
