A documentary celebrating the life of RTE broadcaster Colm Murray will be aired tomorrow night.
The hugely popular reporter and presenter fought a three-year battle with motor neuron disease, receiving a People Of The Year Award for his bravery before passing away last July. The Cloch Le Carn programme will look at some of the most memorable moments of Murray’s career and will be shown on RTÉ One on St Patrick’s Day at 7.30pm.
“The programme brings us a treasure of classic Colm Murray reports peppered with the colour, excitement, madness and high emotions of Italia 90, one of his career highlights. We re-live those unforgettable scenes from the Stadio Olimpico after Schillaci truly burst the Irish dream,” said the makers of the show.
