A Mamma Mia! restaurant is on the way and be still our ABBA-loving hearts

All-singing, all-dancing, and all-too-perfect.

First, there was the musical. Then, two sing-a-long-worthy films.

Just when we thought we couldn’t love it any more, it turns out that there’s an immersive Mamma Mia! restaurant experience on the way.

Be still our ABBA-loving hearts.

Mamma Mia! The Party is created by none other than Bjorn Ulvaeus, the band’s guitar player, and it sounds like a dream come true.

After a sell-out three years in Sweden, the immersive experience is heading to London’s 02 Arena in during the summertime next year (no actual dates are available just yet).

Hundreds of guests will spend an evening at the show/meal/party at an imagined Greek taverna, owned by local landlord Nikos and his family.

There is plenty of good food, dancing and, of course, belting out ABBA songs as Nikos and his family’s story unfolds.

Thee host’s only rules? “Dance, dine and have the time of your lives!”

Well, consider us sold – especially after the trailer.

When asked about bringing Mamma Mia! The Party to London, Ulvaeus said [via Stylist]:

“We believe bringing Mamma Mia! The Party to the 02 will add to this already vibrant cultural destination and provide the perfect location for our exciting new show.”

The tickets aren’t on sale just yet – but you can pre-register for advance access when they do here.
