Dare I say, there is too much chocolate around Easter.

And while I continue to challenge myself to consume more and more, the reality is I’ve tired of the sight of creme eggs and chocolate bunnies already.

Fortunately, this novel recipe looks set to transform the humble creme egg into a culinary speciality.

The delightful guys over at Sorted Food have gone and invented a scotch creme egg. Yes, you read that right.

The gooey looking desert consists of a typical creme egg wrapped in chocolate sponge and then coated in blitzed cornflakes before being deep fried to form the crispy exterior.

Sure, it sounds decadent but I’d by lying if I said I didn’t want to try it.
