The top five saddest movies of all time have been voted for this week, and we’ve got to say we agree with most of them.
Listeners of the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM were asked to name their saddest movie of all time and, after thousands of texts, the top five were compiled.
Our only issue with the list is the fact that The Notebook isn’t on it… Is it just us that bawled our eyes out at that?!
The Top Five Saddest Movies:
5. Field of Dreams (Ray meets his father).
4. Marley & Me (Marley goes to heaven).
3. Up (Opening sequence).
2. Love Actually (the scene with Emma Thompson).
1. The Champ (“Don’t die, Champ!”).
