In case you missed it, this story contains major spoilers.
Australian viewers of Home and Away were left angry and upset last night after the soap appeared to kill off one of the show’s favourites.
In dramatic scenes, Casey Braxton (Lincoln Younes) was shot by Jake Pirovic (Fletcher Humphrys) who had kidnapped Braxton’s half-brother Josh (Jackson Gallagher).
However, the bullet was never meant for the younger Braxton brother. It was actually intended for Darryl ‘Brax’ Braxton (Steve Peacocke) but the shot missed, hitting Casey instead.

Although the preview for tonight’s episode shows Casey still breathing, it is understood from soap insiders that he will not recover from the shooting which is part of a long-running revenge storyline in the show.
There was a massive outpouring on social media sites about the apparent death of the beloved character which will air later this year in Ireland…

It is believed that Younes is now heading onto other pastures as he is set to star in season two of period drama, Love Child. But that’s in the future, meanwhile here are some of our favourite Brax brother moments…
