We’ve all seen the pictures by now.
Over the weekend, pictures emerged of Pink as she listened to Christina Aguilera’s much-hyped Whitney Houston tribute performance at the American Music Awards.
Eager to build on the long-running rumour that the pair has fallen out over the years, media outlets quickly shared the picture with an apparently skewed narrative that Pink was grimacing during the performance.
Yes, the images were quickly shared online with many laughing at the singer’s so-called “pain-ridden” expression.

However, Pink has since responded to the string of stories on Twitter, saying:
“Waking up to see a newly created rift between myself and another incredible woman, Christina, who took on an incredible feat, who I support fully, makes me so sad.
“You all perpetuate keeping women apart b/c you’re afraid of the power we have when we get together.”

The singer then added a second tweet to say:
“I choose to remember last night as being a celebration of women, of Diana, of Whitney, of love and life and joy and all things good.
“Thank you to everyone that had the courage to take that stage – whether it be right side up or sideways. All love.”

The posts were quickly praised by many who commended the singer for standing up for her fellow artists.
However, it didn’t stop many media outlets continuing to spin the feuding rivals story.
One of these stories was called out by Pink herself as she retweeted it, adding:
“I wish I could block you forever but I don’t know how. Someone help me, please.”

The singer made it very clear she’s not here for these rumours.
