Do you ever come across someone’s Instagram and be like, ‘yeah they have a load of pics of themselves with a baby, they absolutely have just given birth on the sly and are now a parent’?
Yeah, us too.
Every day of the week actually.
That’s exactly what happened when a load of people went deep on Love Island‘s Laura Anderson’s Instagram and convinced themselves that she had left a daughter at home to go find love in the villa.
Which, if she had, you know, worse things have happened in this world.

But Laura, of course, doesn’t have any children despite the speculation that rose from her Insta posts originating from 2017.
Back then, the contestant shared a photo of herself holding a newborn baby named Ava.
Writing on the post, she said:
“Ava I love you! Happy 6th birthday beautiful princess.
“You make me so happy and I’m so proud of the kind, funny and talented little girl you’ve become. I’ll see you when you get back for more presents and hugs yayyyy.”
She also added the hashtag ‘when your BFF is 6.’
Cute.
People didn’t think it was so cute though when they assumed she had a daughter waiting for her at home that she hadn’t mentioned.

However, a brief scroll on Laura’s Instagram will reveal that she isn’t a mother – she’s an aunt.
On March 15, she shared another photo of herself and Ava, writing:
“If anyone wants to pop down to the Irish village tomorrow my little superstar will be dancing at 2pm. She’s growing up too fast. I’m not a regular aunt I’m a cool aunt.”
Well that’s that cleared up anyway.

Laura and Wes recently had ‘the talk’ in which he asked her to move in with him and said that he would definitely want to have children with her too.
They have known each other for one week and five days.
