WATCH: Mr Big is alive! … in Peloton’s new Christmas ad

In the spirit of Christmas, the new Peloton ad sees Mr.Big resurrected.

We were all left reeling after the first episode of And Just Like That... the reboot of Sex and The City. From dealing with Samantha no longer being in the picture and seeing Carrie's married life, the first episode left us with lots to think about - and wanting more.  One shock we weren't ready for was the ending, which sees Mr Big have a massive heart attack while exercising on his Peloton bike.  Although we've seen Big battle previous heart problems, this one ended tragically with Carrie finding him close to death on the bathroom floor.  After viewers were left shocked, Peloton released a statement regarding the circumstances of his death.  "Mr. Big lived what many would call an extravagant lifestyle — including cocktails, cigars, and big steaks — and was at serious risk as he had a previous cardiac event in Season 6," they said.  "These lifestyle choices and perhaps even his family history, which often is a significant factor, were the likely cause of his death. Riding his Peloton Bike may have even helped delay his cardiac event," said Dr.Suzanne Steinbaum of Peloton's health and wellness advisory council.  However, this isn't the last we're going to see of Mr Big and his Peloton bike. Peloton's new Christmas ad, voice-over by Ryan Reynolds, sees Chris Noth reunited with actress Jess King, the instructor featured in the fatal episode.  The scene is set by a festive fireplace as the two toast to new beginnings. Mr.Big asks if they "should take another ride?" adding that "life is too short not to."  https://www.instagram.com/p/CXZXpYpJmOk/?utm_medium=copy_link Closing the shot out with two Peloton bikes behind them, Reynolds references the show, "And just like that... the world was reminded that regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs, and circulation, reducing your risk of cardiovascular diseases." In the show Carrie narrates the tragic scene, stating, "And just like that, Big died." Peloton ends the ad with a voiceover from Reynolds stating: "He's alive." Well, that's us told.
