Yes, after eight glorious weeks it’s all over for another year.
While the order in which the top four couples came might have caused a little disagreement, we all stand on the same side when it comes to the winners – Jack and Dani.
Yes, having been together from day one and been nothing but pure sunshine and light to watch for the last two months, they were the worthy winners of this year’s show.
However, surprisingly one of last year’s Love Islanders isn’t so pleased, well actually, he’s totally raging.
Dom Lever from season three has been a vocal supporter of Megan and Wes for weeks now, even when it was far from popular to be so and last night was no different.
Posting on his Instagram stories to encourage viewers to vote for the pair in the final, Dom was left absolutely raging when they placed fourth.
“You’re all a bunch of wankers,” Dom said in his post.
“Megan and Wes should have won. Bastards! Bastards!”
Obviously, the popular contestant was messing – we know how intense these things can get in the heat of the moment – but in the moment he was absolutely piping even sharing a snap of his less-than-impressed face when the predicted winners were announced.
And while Dom later admitted he was happy for Jack and Dani, acknowledging their sheer delight as a couple, he’s still a #Wegan fan for life, predicting big things for the couple over the coming months.
Maybe Wegan will join the club of couples who are still going strong after their appearances on the show – fingers crossed.
