Lads, MTV Cribs is coming back for a brand new series and it feels like 2010 again

'Yo, MTV, welcome to my crib...'

Denise Curtin

MTV Cribs was honestly such an integral part of my childhood.

I so clearly remember the show and the stars showing their bedrooms, saying “and this is where the magic happens”, thinking they meant creating children rather than getting down and duuurty – ah, innocence.

But from Mariah Carey’s iconic wardrobe to Hulk Hogan’s lavish gaff and of course, Shaquille O’Neal’s monster bed, it was a series that let us snoop houses, check out people’s fridges and see where their friends “hung” without seeming like a sheer and utter creep and so, the fact the series is coming back for eight episodes is the best hump day news ever.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, MTV UK’s Kelly Bradshaw confirmed the news saying:

“With its firmly cemented status as a cult hit program, Cribs remains one of the most-loved shows in MTV history.

“The new series is set to be warm and funny, giving MTV audiences a sneak peek into how their favourite stars live.”

MTV Cribs ran for 17 seasons with over 130 episodes – for 2018 we’re praying for Ariana Grande’s New York apartment, Kylie Jenner’s LA pad as well as Hailey and Justin’s new gaff together to name a few.
