Tom Hiddleston is reportedly set to take part in next year's show, making him one of the biggest stars to ever join Strictly.

Rumours about Hiddleston joining next year's line-up come after he was spotted in the Strictly audience.

Tom and his partner, Zawe Ashton attended the Strictly quarter-finals last week.

The Marvel actor is reportedly a huge fan of the show.

"Tom is a huge fan of Strictly and asked to come backstage to last Saturday’s show," an insider told The Sun.

"He sat in the audience for the live show and beforehand asked for selfies with all of the pros," they shared.

Tom Hiddleston even told producers he'd be interested in taking part.

"He told producers he’d love to be on it so the hope is that next year, he’ll be the big-name signing," they added.

Hiddleston wasn't the only big-name attending the Quarter Finals last weekend.

According to insiders, royals were also spotted backstage at Strictly.

Kate Middleton and Prince George were also attending the live show.

The insider said, "He also met Kate Middleton and Prince George who were also backstage, and had an amazing evening."

There's no doubt that Tom Hiddleston would be an incredible contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.

However, is the actor just a little too famous for a show like Strictly?

We'll just have to wait until next year to see what happens.
