Fans of Selena Gomez have expressed concerns for the popstar after she reportedly confirmed the new relationship.
According to reports, the former Disney star is dating music producer, Benny Blanco.
In a now-deleted post on Instagram, Gomez said he is her "everything".
"He is my absolute everything in my heart," she told her millions of followers.
However, Gomez didn't get the response she was expecting and many fans slated the relationship.
One said: "I love her but this isn't going to end well."
Another added: "He dissed your makeup line (which is now worth over a billion dollars so jokes on him.) and then made fun of your career as a musician, need I go on??"
Gomez ignored the backlash and claimed he was better than anyone she has ever been with.
Blanco is reportedly good friends with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

"He's better than anyone I've ever been with. Facts," she wrote.
The singer added: "I will never allow your words to guide my life ... If you can't accept me at my happiest then don't be in [my] life at all."
The pair's relationship is relatively new with insiders claiming they've only been dating for around a month.
However, Selena and Blanco have known one another for years.
Blanco worked with Gomez on her 2019 single 'I Can't Get Enough'.
Gomez was previously in a relationship with Justin Bieber.
She also dated Nick Jonas, Orlando Bloom, and Niall Horan.
Fans may not be impressed with her new relationship, but the singer said she's never been happier.
