The trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is officially here, and fans across the globe were definitely emotional – one moreso than others.
It was sort of a bittersweet moment, as it’s the final time that Star Wars audiences will be able to see Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.
But nothing – and we mean nothing – prepared us for the photo of Carrie’s beloved french bulldog Gary watching his mum on screen for the final time.

The caption reads:
“Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever.

Gary, the late actress’ therapy dog, now lives with Carrie’s assistant, Corby McCoin, who runs his social media accounts.

The trailer for The Last Jedi was released in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
And while it’s definitely jam-packed with some brilliant action scenes (and hints of what’s to come), director Rian Johnson did say he was “torn” about wanting fans to see the trailer.
A fan asked him:
“you said that we should avoid everything until TLJ comes out.. does that include this next trailer too?”
And the director replied:
“I am legitimately torn. If you want to come in clean, absolutely avoid it.
“But it’s gooooood…..”

So, on the off chance the Force is strong enough with you not to watch the trailer – better shut your eyes now.
