Arabella Chi

It’s been one week since Love Island: All Stars debuted on our screens.

In a short space of time, the spin-off series of Love Island has already sent viewers into a frenzy with its messy twists, drama, and the return of past Islanders on a mission to find lasting love.

Tonight, Arabella Chi from season five is set to join the South African villa, although many fans of the show have admitted to being unable to recall her from her series as she lasted just one week before being dumped from the island in 2019.

Who is Arabella Chi?

Arabella is a 32-year-old model from London who joined Love Island in 2019, a series that consisted of huge names such as Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins.

The social media personality entered the villa on day 18 and coupled up with Danny Williams.

The couple did not pursue anything romantic after Arabella was dumped by her fellow Islanders on day 25.

“I know Arabella. None of us are safe, absolutely not”

On Friday night, the final scenes of the episode saw the model entering the villa after sending a text to the boys saying they had been invited to her afterparty at the hideaway terrace.

When the news broke that Arabella was the latest bombshell, season three’s Georgia Harrison immediately said, “I know Arabella. None of us are safe, absolutely not,” much to the dismay of the other girls.

In her voiceover, she referenced her life as a model since departing the show four and a half years ago:

“I’ve been fortunate enough to hang out in Hollywood circles, but I’ve still not found love.

“I might of recently have come out of a relationship, but I’m ready to meet the man of my dreams, so get me back in that villa.”

Arabella was making reference to her former relationship with Manchester City footballer Rúben Dias, who only spilt in recent months.

In November, a source told The Sun that the former couple kept their romance ‘under the radar’ intentionally and had visited Paris together.

The outlet later reported that Arabella had been ‘dumped’ by the footballer shortly after their holiday, likely prompting the model to return to the show as an All Star.

Ahead of her entrance tonight, she told The Sun that, in the last year, she has been unlucky in love.

“Last year was probably my unluckiest when it came to finding the one. I’ve been so unlucky in love. I’ve dated people I thought at the time were the one, which was a mistake I’ve since learnt from.’

“What I’ve learnt from dating last year is that you think you know someone but you don’t really know them at all.

“I dated people that perhaps, looking back, weren’t best suited to me.”

While Arabella is fresh out of a relationship, she also has some history with one of the contestants currently in the villa: Toby Aromolaran.

Toby is presently coupled up with season four’s Georgia Steele, although the pair came to blows on Friday night’s episode over his decision to get to know Molly Smith better.

Tonight, Arabella and Toby came face-to-face and addressed their past.

The model turns to him and asks: “Are you a little bit shocked to see me?” to which he laughs nervously and says “You picked your time…”

Picking up on the energy, Joshua Ritchie chimes in and asks: “Why is there history between you two?”

Arabella responds: “Yeah…there is a bit of history. It was like a year ago and then I met my ex. It then fizzled out because I was in a relationship.”

Callum continues: “Is there any chance of you and Toby rekindling?” and she answers: “I do feel like there are definitely conversations to be had.”

Love Island: All Stars returns tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media and Virgin Media Player.
