However, there's an ever-so-small catch.
The Animaniacs' next two chapters will only be shown on the streaming service, Hulu.
And, at least for now, that only works in the United States - meaning anyone hoping to tune in in Ireland will be facing a bit of a problem.
But hey, 2020 is still awhile away. A lot can change between now and then, right?
The full runs of other beloved shows like Pinky and the Brain, Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain, and Tiny Toon Adventures will also be returning.
Steven Spielberg will be returning as executive producer on the series, alongside Warner Bros. Animation president Sam Register, Amblin Television co-presidents Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.
Spielberg said:
"I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu. “Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot."And it's not just the Warner Brothers, Yakko and Wakko, as well as their sister Dot, that will be returning. Fan-favourites like Pinky and the Brain are also coming back - presumably to try and take over the world (again).
Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series, said:
“Yakko, Wakko and Dot have been waiting impatiently inside the water tower, and now their hilarious brand of animated chaos will be unleashed — again! "We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Amblin and Hulu for new episodes of Animaniacs, filled with endless laughs — and ongoing plots for world domination by Pinky and the Brain. “Parents who grew up with the cartoon now have new episodes to share with their own families.”
The original Animaniacs made its television debut in 1993 and went on to become one of the most popular animated series for children.
It went on to win eight Daytime Emmys and launch a number of spinoffs, before wrapping up in 1998.
