Angelina Jolie releases second statement about her divorce from Brad Pitt

By now, you will have surely heard that Brad and Angelina are no more.

News broke yesterday that the couple had filed for divorce a few days ago. Angelina was the one to submit the documents citing irreconcilable differences. Following the news both parties released individual statements which focused on the well-being of their children. Angelina's attorney Robert Offer said:

"This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time."

And Brad told People magazine:

"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids... "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."

Now, Angelina's manager, Geyer Kosinski, has released a further statement telling E! News:

"Angelina will always do what's in the best interest of taking care of her family. She appreciates everyone's understanding of their need for privacy at this time."

The couple have been together since 2004 and only married in August 2014. They have six children, Vivienne, Knox, Zahara, Maddox, Shiloh and Pax.
