“The look I got off this woman”
Vogue Williams has spoken out about being slut-shamed during a recent holiday.
The mum explained that during a recent trip to St. Barts a woman slated her for wearing a bikini.
Vogue Williams told podcast co-presenter, Joanne McNally, that she was slut-shamed in the supermarket.
Vogue said she wore her bikini to the supermarket but had a wrap over it.
“You know the way when you’re on holidays and you’re like ‘Okay I’ll go to the supermarket and wear my bikini but like with a wrap over it and my flip flops because I’m on my holidays.’”
“Well, I walked in, and this woman – the look I got off this woman.”
The woman approached Vogue in the supermarket and told her to pull her wrap up.
“She looked me up and down and she goes ‘No, no, no’ and I was like ‘Pardon?’ and she goes ‘Pull this up.’”
“Two more times during my shopping trip, she came around just to throw me filthy looks,” she shared.
Vogue said another woman was kicked out of the shop because she was wearing a swimsuit.
“I was like ‘Oh my god’ and then I went over to her and I was like ‘Excuse me, this woman’s in a swimsuit’ and I had to rat someone out.”
“But the other woman was already standing outside because she’d gotten kicked out!” Vogue said.
Vogue was on holiday with her husband Spencer Matthews and their three children at the time.
The parents recently travelled to St. Bart’s with their three children- sons Theodore and Otto and daughter Gigi.
