Birthday gifts for your significant other can be a bit of a minefield.
If you’ve only started going out, you don’t know what to get and if you’re together a while, sometimes you run out of ideas that they will like.
Former X Factor star Stacey Solomon appeared on Loose Women today and one of the topics discussed was her 27th birthday celebrations, which took place earlier this week.
The Loose Women ladies were eager to find out all about it and Stacey explained that her other half, Joe Swash, had work commitments on the day.
Soon, the conversation then turned to gifts and Stacey said that Joe gave her THREE pairs of runners for her birthday.
When first asked the question, “what did Joe for you”, Stacey hesitated a little.
She then elaborated on the presents saying:
“Joe was really lovely, he got me some really nice trainers, in fact three pairs. Cos every girl needs three pairs of trainers cos every girl needs three pairs of trainers. I think he’s trying to say ‘get active, come on girl'”.
Coleen Nolan then asked what Stacey did when she got to the third box and she said she was thinking there might have been something else in the last one.
“I kept thinking it was something else not that I want, I LOVE them. I love them. They’re really nice but I think I thought that the third box that looks exactly the same is like a surprise”.
When someone else asked if maybe she was expecting a box of a different kind, Stacey said:
“You never know”.
“There was so many scenarios going round in my head…but it was another box of trainers.”
However, the Loose Women gals obtained a video message from Joe which they played for Stacey and you can check it out in the above clip.
He also sent in flowers and Stacy was delighted saying:
“Thank you Joe. I love you”.
