Why Meghan probably won't give birth in the royals' go-to maternity hospital

We’re definitely taking this with a grain of salt.

As royal fans will know, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in Spring 2019 – and there has been lots of excitement surrounding the couple at the moment.

Fans have been trying to suss out just when baby Sussex is going to be arriving, while others have been hoping to guess which name the parents-to-be are going to pick for their little one.

And now fans of the royal family think the Kensington Palace may have revealed the name of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s unborn child….in an Instagram post about gingerbread.

Yes, really.

Alongside a link to the delicious-sounding recipe, they captioned the series of photos:

“Together the team in the Kitchens at Buckingham Palace will create thousands of sweet treats and canapés for the receptions hosted at the Palace throughout the year – but Christmas time is especially busy.

“These Ginger Bread Biscuits can be even be personalised and are sturdy enough to hang on your tree as decorations.”

And while the cookies look too good to eat, eagle-eyed fans of the royal family noticed that one of the cookies being decorated had a name on it: Emma.

Granted, there are plenty of people within the palace who the cookie could be for – like an employee, maybe? – but people are convinced that it was actually a clue about the name of Meghan and Harry’s unborn child.

“Megan and Harry’s baby name??!” one person asked, while another person said: “Emma? Is that Harry and Megan’s child’s name?”

Another excited fan wrote: “Why Emma?? Baby Emma?? Megan and Harry!!”

We’ll just have to wait and see.
