Four Christian musicians are suing Katy Perry, claiming she stole their 2008 song ‘Joyful Noise’, turning it into her chart topping hit ‘Dark Horse’.

The complaint filed against the singer, refers to the case as a copyright lawsuit with defendants Perry, featured artist Juicy J, Capitol Records and the song’s writers and producers.

Rappers Marcus Gray, Emanuel Lambert, LeCrae Moore and producer Chike Ojukwu filed the complaint on July 1st in St. Louis against the singer and her team, claiming that their song has been tainted by the “witchcraft, paganism, black magic and Illuminati imagery” found in Katy Perry’s ‘Dark Horse’ song and music video.

Katy Perry’s team and Capitol Records did not respond for our request for a comment.

Just in case you’re not familiar with the musical skills of these four lads, here’s their song ‘Joyful Noise’. Feel free to judge for yourself…
