Imelda May has announced the death of her beloved father, Tony Clabby.
The singer penned a heartbreaking tribute to her late dad on Instagram this afternoon.
The heartbroken singer shared the devastating news with her followers.
Alongside a lovely photo of her dad, Imelda said, “Our dearest father Tony Clabby has passed away gently on this the 12th day of Christmas, Nollaig na mBán, Little Christmas, the Epiphany, the Day of the Kings.”
Imelda May said her dad was “pure love” and he told her that “he had a great time”.

“After three sacred days of gathering, holding, laughing, accepting, harmonising, and loving he passed gently,” the singer shared.
“We are heartbroken but truly grateful. More than anyone I’ve ever met, Dad was pure LOVE. As he said himself only hours ago, he’s had a great time, it’s time to go easy, it’s time to go to Madge. And true love lives forever.”
Tributes have been pouring in for her beloved father after his passing.
Her 91-year-old father passed away on January 6th.
He was admitted to St. James’s Hospital in Dublin in October.
