‘I’m Not Getting Naked. I’m Sick Of It.’ – Jamie Dornan Refused To Pose Topless For Vogue Shoot

The actor has vowed to cover up for future roles!

Jamie Dornan has ruled out stripping off for future roles, saying he is  “sick” of being asked to flash the flesh on camera.

The actor is featured in the current issue of Vogue, ahead of his much-anticipated role in Fifty Shades Of Grey, but rejected a request to pose topless for photos to accompany the article.

According to Entertainment Wise, the County Down actor gave “short shrift to the suggestion of a Vogue editor that he might, perhaps, peel off his top?” and revealed his frustration at the constant references to his past as an underwear model.

“There is a certain stigma attached to the whole thing of model-turned-actor. But I was always quite a reluctant model, to my agent’s annoyance. I was never hugely keen on it or doing it, and in a weird way, I didn’t do a great deal of it. They happened to be jobs that ended up on the sides of buses, bit it wasn’t this all-consuming thing. I’ve never done a catwalk show in my life,” he said.

“I’m not ungrateful. I enjoy working with certain photographers and having a bit of a craic and catching up, but the actual thing of having to stand looking all moody and looking off into the distance and, ‘Let’s just do a couple with a finger round your mouth’…I’d rather be playing football.”

In the interview, which features in the November issue of the fashion magazine, The Fall star said he would love to work with actress Lena Dunham (who has tweeted her admiration of Dornan in the past) but drew the line at a possible love scene in Girls, saying “I’m not getting naked. I’m sick of it. Sick of it.”
