“If You Let It Happen, It Will Happen” – Charlize Theron Discusses Relationship With Sean Penn

Charlize Theron has opened up about her relationship with Sean Penn in an interview for the July issue of Esquire magazine. "It was nice to be single and now it's nice to be not single," the Monster actress said of her relationship with actor Penn. "I wasn't in any place that I even wanted something like that...it's like if you are open to something, if you just let it happen, it will happen. When you least expect it". The actress posed for celebrity photographer Terry Richardson in the black and white shoot and there's no denying that she looks amazing. Wearing a swimsuit, Charlize opted for a high-octane glamorous look with vampy dark lipstick and smoky eye make-up. Charlize poses for the July issue of Esquire Thirty eight-year-old Charlize has a two-year-old son Jackson and said she always knew that she would adopt. The actress will hit the big screen later this year in Dark Places, a film adaptation of the Gillian Flynn book. When Charlize was 15, her mother was forced to shoot her alcoholic father after he threatened them both. He died but it was ruled as self-defence and her mother didn't face any charges. "It's titillating. It sells magazines, at the expense of me and other people who were involved," she told Esquire of the experience. "I'm asking for it a little bit with Dark Places. I'll 'fess up to that. This is why it's so hard: I get it. I get that people, if they know the (Gillian Flynn) book, would be like, "Oh, of course Charlize is doing this." The actress continued: "I’m not denying that my father's death is a part of me. I just don't think it's the only part of me, and I think sometimes people like to blow it out of proportion".
