Here’s how Kate Middleton got the pretty big scar on her forehead

No, we’d never noticed it either, tbh.

Over the course of your lifetime, you’ve probably looked at a fair few photos of Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

She’s been in the public eye for quite some time now, attending royal engagements, wearing some decent clothes, and having babies.

She’s a fairly busy woman like, it’d only make sense that you’d take a gander at a few photos of her over the years.

And if you have, you might have noticed the fact that she’s got a fairly prominent scar on her forehead. To be honest, we didn’t notice it at all because it’s pretty much concealed by her hairline, but it is there.

Kensington Palace have confirmed it and everything.

Legit.

Here’s a photo of Kate where you can see the three inch scar concealed beneath her hair.

And here’s a closeup.

Back in 2011, the Daily Mail reported that it looked like Kate was wearing hair extensions, due to the prominent line visible beneath her hair.

However, Kensington Palace then got involved and said that Kate had had a pretty serious operation when she was a child and that the scar is from that. And not dodgy hair extensions.

In a statement, they said: “The scar is related to a childhood operation.”

Well, that’s cleared that up anyway, cheers.

For reasons unknown to us, chat about Kate’s scar is doing the rounds again with many people in comments sections across the globe (probably) speculating as to why the Duchess needed such a serious operation when she was young.

Perhaps we’ll never know though guys, because sometimes people just like to keep things private, you know?

Unless they’re being accused of wearing dodgy hair extensions.

Then it’s time to drop some truth.
