Ladies, meet the policeman who has gained himself a few adoring female fans.
Grant Hazell has proven a hit due to his uncanny resemblance to Ryan Gosling.
Grant, who hails from Suffolk, is now living in Perth, Australia, has been approached many times by strangers who think he is the Canadian actor.
In an interview with the The Sun the 35-year-old admitted he didn’t mind being mistaken for the Hollywood heartthrob. “He’s a cool guy and a great actor,” he said.
“It’s not a bad thing to look like one of Hollywood’s most wanted men.”
Grant’s wife, Caroline, urged her husband to pursue a career as a look-alike. After leaving his job with the police force in May, Grant’s looks now earn him $350 a day.
“He refused to watch his films and was embarrassed that I suggested he looked like him.”
“But I loved the fact that he was the spitting image of Gosling,” she continued.
