Yes, we understand that whole sentence sounds like a fever dream but bear with us, we swear it's true.

Teasing their project on Instagram, music producer Mark said: "I told him I fantasis ed about us performing the song live, so we started to dream what that might sound like.

"I was also dying to show the song in a different context — he demanded I go 'Full Ronson' with the arrangement (which I took to mean 2007 Motown/wall of sound-obsessed me)."

Apparently, after they entered the studio together once more, they realised just how festive the song now sounds and decided they would wrap it up in a bow and give it to Barbie fans as an early present.

The single, named I'm Just Ken, Merry Kristmas Barbie, is out today and takes the hit song to a whole new festive level with plenty of bells and chimes as Ryan sings his heart out.

Even Ryan's wife Eva Mendes seems to be excited for this latest edition to the world of Ken as she wrote under the clip: "Ken not wait for this."

The original track has become hugely popular since the release of the very successful hit box-office film – with the song entering at number 87 in the Billboard Hot 100 upon its release.

The film which has grossed a whopping $1.3 billion worldwide, has been nominated for several Golden Globe awards, including Best Original Song for I’m Just Ken, alongside other hit songs from the movie.
