What do you get a prince who has everything? Well Queen Elizabeth bestowed a different kind of present on her grandson this week, leasing Prince William his very own helicopter.
Already dubbed Heirforce One, the luxury helicopter has no previous owners, can carry seven passengers and is decked out with leather seats. The helicopter will also carry the queen’s royal crest on its side.
Sky News suggests that Queen Elizabeth II leased the helicopter at a cost of £8million sterling to mark William’s 32nd birthday.
The helicopter can stay in the sky for up to four and a half hours, travelling at a maximum speed of 180 miles per hour, and will likely be used for royal engagements.
It has not been confirmed whether Prince William, a trained pilot with the air force, will fly the helicopter himself.
