She’s devastated.
Love Island star Layla Al-Momani has recently opened up about her experience of being trolled following her time on the show.
Layla appeared on this season of the ITV dating show during the Casa Amor episodes where she found a connection with Will.
She was, however, dumped from the villa after Will chose to stick with Jessie instead.
Since her time in the villa, Layla has received a lot of backlash and trolling.
The 28-year-old told The Sun: “The abuse has been a lot. I have struggled with that.
“If you look at AfterSun, you can see my eyes are really red, because I’ve been crying before.
“It’s tough because I feel like I have to defend myself but in a really careful way, because anything I say at the moment, people are just like, ‘oh, but you’re this, you’re that’.”
Adding that there hasn’t been a day where she hasn’t cried since leaving the show, Layla said it’s important to remember that she is a person with feelings.
While she didn’t post new content on Instagram during her time in the show due to new rules, but trolls have headed to her old photos.
