Things just seem to be going from bad to worse for Girls Aloud. The latest issue? Well Sarah Harding has been arrested!

The Daily Mail reports that Sarah has been charged with two offences after she was pulled over by the police in London on Thursday afternoon. The singer was allegedly spotted using her mobile phone while she was driving along the Charing Cross Road and failed to stop for the police.

According to reports, the police attempted to flag her down numerous times and she refused. However, she ended up being stopped minutes later.

Sarah was taken to the nearby Holborn Police Station and was charged with the two offences. A spokesperson for the police has officially confirmed that the star was charged.

Sarah could find herself facing fines of up to £6,000 for using her phone and failing to stop for the police. She could also lose her licence.

Sarah reportedly refused to pull over for the police

Sarah’s run-in with the law comes just weeks after she spoke out about how ‘calm’ her life has become after she checked into rehab back in 2011.

“I’m 200 per cent better in terms of my inner strength and attitude. I’m a lot calmer. I still have my hyper days, but I just take one day at a time,” she said, speaking to Look magazine.

“In the band it was a roller coaster. And yes, I have learned from my mistakes,” she added.

The police confirmed that following the incident, Sarah was bailed and she is now expected to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on April 16th.
