Dara O’Briain Thanks Police For Finding His Stolen Bike

Expect to hear about this story in one of his shows. 

It’s never nice to have something stolen from you, especially when it’s a bicycle. You’re left with no way to work and a hefty price tag on a new one. Speaking from personal experience, it is not nice.

Poor old Dara O’Briain, it seems didn’t escape bike theft and he too got his bike stolen. The comedian lives in London with his wife and two children.

In a lovely turn of events, he took to Twitter to confirm that his bike had been found by London police and returned to him.

Well, a pleasant end to 2015. Hounslow branch of @metpoliceuk recovered my stolen bicycle. Thank you very much Officers, much appreciated.

He also revealed that he went undercover online to find the bike and even created a fake eBay profile to do so.

There’s a longer version to this, involving eBay, and me using a false name online, but I suspect it may end up as a routine…
