We’d probably sell a kidney to see Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tie the knot but it seems that some of the lucky people on the guestlist have better things to do.
According to OK Magazine, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have snubbed an invite to the Parisian nuptials as they feel the event will be too “high profile” for them. It is claimed that the pair are keen to keep their private life out of the public eye and “would be there if it wasn’t going to be such a public event”.
The no-show comes as a shock given that Jay-Z and Kanye are well known to be best buds, teaming up for the Watch The Throne collaboration in 2011, but the 99 Problems rapper is said to be making up for his absence by throwing a seriously swanky stag do.
“It will cost a small fortune – and to top it all off, he’s chucked in a £100,000 yacht rental in there as a wedding gift as well.”
