It had been rumoured that Simon Cowell was lining up Katie Hopkins to be a judge on Britain’s Got Talent but it seems there’s no love lost between the pair if his latest comments are anything to go by.
The reality show star was asked about the prospect of Hopkins joining the hit show at last night’s Elle Style Awards and replied by saying “I would rather take a bath, fill it with vinegar, cut myself a thousand times, immerse myself slowly for an hour, than work with her. So the answer is no.”.
The former Apprentice contestant has been angling for a spot on the judging panel since Amanda Holden hinted she may call time on her career with the show after ten years.
“There is a role for a Miss Nasty on any panel. We don’t have any good Miss Nasties at the moment because everyone wants to be sweet like Cheryl Cole,” said Hopkins.
“They want to be loved. It would be good to have someone different. There’s absolutely more TV coming up for me.”
