Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and the seven other victims who died in last month’s tragic helicopter crash were remembered at the NBA last night.
Opening the 2020 All-Star game, singer and Oscar-winner, Jennifer Hudson performed “For All We Know (We May Meet Again)” as an emotional tribute to the NBA star, his family and those who also lost their lives in the horrible Los Angeles crash.

Speaking about the star at the game, fellow NBA All-Star, Magic Johnson said a few words explaining that there will never be another basketball player “quite like Kobe”.
“He was passionate about being a great father, husband, filmmaker,” he continued.
The audience could be heard chanting Bryant’s name at the game last night while an eight second silence was also held in his memory.

A powerful tribute also played out during the game, highlighting the player’s work and his Lakers legacy.
On Valentine’s Day, Kobe’s wife paid tribute to her late husband, sharing a video of the pair on social media, she wrote:
“To my forever Valentine, I love you so much. Missing you so much on your favorite holiday. Te amo per sempre. Kisses to you and Gigi in heaven. Happy Valentine’s Day, my babies. With all my love, your boo-boo.”

At the All-Star NBA game yesterday, Quavo, Lil Wayne, Chance the Rapper and DJ Khaled also performed at halftime.
Celebrities such as Kanye West and Kim Kardashian also made their way to the United Center in Chicago for the game, having been spotted sitting courtside.
