Gas.
It’s not every day that we see a piece of news and do a double take because it’s not horrific, terribly upsetting, or just plain awful.
These things we are used to.
We have grown up with them, and it’s likely that we’re going to grow old with them too because the world isn’t getting any sounder.
As it turns out, people aren’t getting any sounder either.
At least, some of the people who know one of the lads who runs the Channel 4 Twitter account aren’t.
Yesterday, an unknown source took to the account to share some very important breaking news.
BREAKING: It's definitely better to be nice to people and not be a dick. We'll update you as and when we have more on this story.

I mean, they’re not wrong though.
Understandably, Twitter was only delighted that a mainstream news organisation had decided to tell the truth for once (ha).
They tweeted their replies to the rogue member of staff.

However, it probably wasn’t the tweeter’s last day, because these sort of posts actually seem to be a part of Channel 4‘s social media strategy.
Just over a week ago, they tweeted this.
BREAKING: The world's problems will not be solved by arguing with strangers on Twitter. We'll update you when we have more on this story.

We don’t know about you but we are very much looking forward to reading more words of wisdom from the Channel 4 Twitter team.
They know what’s up.
