A lot of green and red to be seen today…
Sometimes having a flag and a jersey just isn’t quite enough, we need more and we need bigger, it’s All-Ireland Final day after all.
This effort from a group of fellas from Ballyhaunis earlier on shows that this year, Mayo fans are absolutely not taking no for answer.
As if a smoke machine wasn’t enough, the Mayo fans have even decorated their cars in preparation.
Another place the Mayo fans are dominating today is quite the unusual place – Hill 16.
This certain stand in Croke Park is usually dominated by Dublin fans whenever the blues are playing in Croker but this time, it seems like they’re not going to have it all their own way.
Mayo fans seem to have taken a large portion of the available tickets and secured a chunk of the Hill to themselves.
The whole right half of the Hill is a sea of green and red.
The first of the psychological battles between the fans goes the way of the westerners, but which way will the battle on the pitch go?
