It looks like the unofficial eighth wonder of the world has had a movie makeover.
Ahead of the Dublin premiere of the latest Star Wars installment, The Force Awakens, at the Savoy cinema on O’ Connell street this week, the humble spire has been transformed into a light sabre.
We are not yet sure if it will actually light up yet, but we think it would be a pretty big anti-climax if it didn’t.
