Well girls, it’s official – new research has revealed that when it comes to getting down and dirty, we like to exercise our vocal chords. A lot.
Is this the most pointless piece of research ever? Eh…yes, we think so. In fact, we’re pretty sure that we didn’t need a study to confirm what women have known for years (it’s an unspoken rule that men enjoy receiving a bit of vocal encouragement in the bedroom).
Do you want to know what other bit of ground-breaking research this survey revealed? Apparently just because women are screaming the place down, it doesn’t mean that they’re enjoying sexy times more than their gentleman friend.
Next they’ll be telling us that women fake orgasms! The scandal!
In a survey carried out by online adult retailer LoveHoney.co.uk, 94 per cent of women admitted that they were much louder than their partners when they were doing the nasty. And, unsurprisingly, 70 per cent of men who were questioned agreed that yes, their female counterparts were much louder. Shocking, we know.
Speaking about the results of the survey, Tracey Cox, a sex expert, said that there was no scientific reason as to why women make more noise than men when they are in the throes of passion.
“It tends to be an individual thing. Some people scream the house down at a concert, others watch without making a sound. It doesn’t mean they’re not enjoying it as much,” said Ms Cox.
“One theory might be that since women fake it more often than men do, perhaps they feel obliged to provide ‘evidence’ that they’re enjoying themselves? Either way, we need to steer clear from thinking that the noisier a person is in bed, the more they’re enjoying it,” she added.
Don’t you feel positively enlightened now that you know this information? We sure do, oh and ladies? You might want to keep it down – think of the neighbours!
